You’ve made it! You’ve made it into your chosen university, you’ve made it onto your chosen course and now you’re living in your chosen accommodation. Life is pretty sweet for you right now.
Your previous life is now a thing of the past and you’re ready and raring to boldly go where millions have gone before you. But your first few days, weeks and months at university may not be all that plain sailing.
You’ve got to get used to a new city, you’ve got to meet a lot of people all at once which can be a little bit intimidating. You’ve got to get used to making your own way to lectures and get used to a whole new teaching method. You’ve even got to get used to making your own meals, cleaning your own accommodation and washing your own clothes.
Let’s face it you’re starting to miss your Mum. But it’s ok. It’s all ok. Every little thought and feeling you’ve had or are having is completely normal and trust us when we say that we’ve all been there, done that and bought the T-shirt.
