How much is the deposit?
Deposits are £150 for all of our properties (except Northgate Point, Northgate studio and Warehouse which is only £100).
How and when do I pay the deposit?
Your deposit is paid when you book your room. It needs to be paid using a credit* or debit card and the cardholder must authorise the payment. (*credit cards incur a surcharge).
How do I pay for the rent?
If you are a student with a permanent UK home address then you will usually have the option of paying in one or four instalments. If your permanent home address is outside the UK then you have the option of one payment or four instalments if you have a UK Guarantor. If you need a different payment option then please contact us to discuss this personally.
What are instalments?
An instalment is a part-payment of your total rent amount. If you choose to pay in four instalments, for example, your rent payment will be divided into four payments of 10%, 30%, 40% and 20% of the total cost. The first instalment can potentially be taken up to two weeks before your tenancy starts.You will be told the dates on which the money will be collected during the booking process, these will depend on your property and tenancy.
What happens if I can’t make a payment?

What happens if I have a delay or a problem with student finance?

What happens if my payment cannot be made due to international payment difficulties?

What methods can I use to pay?
You can pay by credit/debit card or direct debit. You can do this by logging onto the StudenFM Portal and clicking on Make a Payment. Alternatively, you can pay at reception or over the phone.
Can I pay by bank transfer?
We do accept bank transfer as a standard method of payment. Please contact us to obtain the relevant bank details.
